Airtech International Group, Inc. announces a revolutionary breakthrough in technology, the Airsopure™, Model S-30 in-line, ducted, multi-phase filtration system. The S-30 incorporates leading-edge photocatalysis and high-efficiency particulate filtration, and converts most volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to carbon dioxide and water vapor, while capturing over 90% of sub-microscopic-particles.

The S-30 is designed to be incorporated in new or existing construction and renovation to provide people protection against indoor air pollutants, i.e. molds, spores, bacteria, viruses, pollen, formaldehyde, combustion by-products, odors, and many toxic gases. The uniqueness of this product lies in its ability to sterilize and eliminate as opposed to merely filtering or collecting pollutants, all within the capacity of existing blowers and HVAC equipment. No additional blowers or high-pressure filters are required.

Photocatalysis (PCO) technology has been studied and endorsed by the EPA, Sandia National Laboratories, U.S. Department of Defense, US Department of Energy, and National Renewable Energy Laboratories (NREL) as being able to completely destroy volatile organic compounds in deadly air and ground water effluent containing carcinogenic compounds. Airtech has applied this technology in a revolutionary way, making it available to schools, medical facilities, commercial and residential markets for protection of faculty, students, patients, workers and families. Photocatalysis works by the natural effect of UV light on titanium dioxide to neutralize odors and gases, while attacking the RNA and DNA of most airborne viruses, bacteria and fungi.

The unit installs easily in the return-air duct, before the fan/coil unit, is designed to protect the evaporator coil, motor, drain pan, and duct system from dirt and pollutants, and increases efficiency of heat transfer, providing a cost savings.
